Meet Michelle
A Wellington lawyer who traded heels for gum boots and moved to the mighty Wairarapa.
These days you'll find me living and working in Martinborough, where I've built a legal practice that reflects the things I value most — relationships, community and taking the time to genuinely connect with people.
My journey into law wasn't a straight line. I began as a legal secretary, qualified as a legal executive, and eventually completed my law degree before being admitted to the Bar in 2007. After many years in practice, I've learnt that good legal advice starts with listening.
I love a chat.
Whether you're buying a property, planning for the future, navigating a relationship change, managing a family estate or thinking about succession planning, my first priority is understanding what matters most to you.
Many clients tell me they're surprised by how comfortable they feel walking through the door. That's important to me. Law doesn't need to be intimidating or full of jargon. My role is to help you understand your options, make informed decisions and feel confident about the road ahead.
Based in Martinborough, I work with clients throughout the Wairarapa and Wellington region. I also regularly assist lawyers from around New Zealand whose clients need local support while visiting or spending time in the Wairarapa.
Most of all, I still genuinely love what I do.
Helping people through some of life's biggest decisions remains a privilege, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing clients leave feeling reassured, informed and ready for what's next.
When you visit, you'll likely be greeted by Lucy, my much-loved office companion, who is always happy to welcome new faces.
I'd love to meet you.
